Vehicle pick-up and return

Pick-up and return of the vehicle take place at Suur-paala 1, 13619 Tallinn. Advance booking by phone at +372 5022234 is required. If the car is booked less than 58 minutes before the rental start time, the availability of the desired car class and timely delivery cannot be guaranteed regardless of whether the booking is confirmed or not.

Required documents

The renter must be at least 19 years old and hold a valid driver’s license. When renting a car, a valid driver’s license, an identity document (i.e. ID card or passport), and a valid credit or debit card must be presented. Foreign driver’s licenses are valid in Estonia.

Payment

Payment for car rental and additional services must be made in advance for the entire rental period, either in cash, by card, or via bank transfer. Bank card payments are accepted anywhere within GSM coverage using a mobile terminal.
For reservations, a prepayment of 20% of the estimated rental amount is required. In case of cancellation, the prepayment is non-refundable.

Deposit

A deposit of €200–500 is blocked on the bank card and released within 1–5 business days after the vehicle is returned, provided there are no claims and all Terms and Conditions of the Car Rental Agreement have been met. The rental company reserves the right to request a higher deposit if necessary.

Insurance

Rental prices do not include the cost of comprehensive (CASCO) insurance. In case of vehicle theft, the renter’s liability is 15% of the insured value of the car, provided that both the keys and the documents are returned to the rental company. The renter’s liability in case of an accident can be reduced for an additional fee to €190, €65, or €0.

Mileage limitation

Rental prices for 1–29 days include unlimited mileage within Estonia.
For rentals longer than 30 days, mileage is limited to 3000 km per month. An additional charge of €0.12/km applies for exceeding the mileage limit.

Vehicle use

The vehicle is delivered to the renter with a full fuel tank, in clean and technically sound condition. Upon return, the fuel tank must also be full unless otherwise agreed (full/full, empty/empty). The interior must be clean upon return; however, external washing and dry cleaning (vacuuming) are included in the rental price.
Photos of the vehicle are taken at handover to document its condition. Any damages are recorded in the rental agreement. By accepting the vehicle and signing the agreement, the renter agrees with the stated condition of the car.
In case of early return, the prepaid rental amount is non-refundable unless otherwise agreed.

Driving the vehicle outside of Estonia without written consent from AM Rent is prohibited.

Outside Estonia, mileage is limited to 400 km/day, but not more than 3000 km during the rental period or per month (30 days). An additional fee of €0.12/km applies for exceeding the mileage limit.

Other conditions

These terms and conditions apply simultaneously with those stated in the rental agreement. In case of any contradiction between these terms and those in the rental agreement, these terms prevail.

AM Rent reserves the right to refuse to rent out a vehicle.
