Security deposit and additional insurance
The insurance deposit paid by the customer covers our company’s repair costs in the event of vehicle damage. The deposit amount depends on the class of the rental car and ranges from €300 to €3,500. However, we understand that not all customers are able or willing to pay such a sum or leave it as a deposit.
That is why we offer a “no-deposit car rental” service. To benefit from it, you need to purchase additional insurance for the rental period. With this insurance, the deposit is reduced by up to five times, and your liability is also reduced by five times. This helps you minimize expenses and rent a car without extra financial commitments.
Conditions of additional insurance
The additional insurance applies in the following cases:
- Vehicle damage resulting from a traffic accident.
- Scratches, paintwork damage, and body part deformations.
- Cracks and chips on the windshield.
- Cancellation of penalty charges for serious car damage or theft.
Renter’s responsibilities
When using additional insurance, the renter is exempt from covering damages provided that all conditions are strictly followed. The main rule in the event of an accident with additional insurance is to notify us and the police immediately within the first 30 minutes. Please note that liability to the police and additional penalties (such as fines for illegal parking) remain in force.
